Getting Started with Clever

Not sure if you should use Clever? Your first point of contact should be school administration, but if you need help you can Contact Us or contact Clever.

If you are a Clever participating school or group, you can gain access by following the steps below. In depth instructions by Clever can be found here.

  1. Log in to your Clever dashboard
  2. Request Open eBooks as an app
  3. Scope your district
  4. Download Open eBooks on a mobile device (Android or iOS))
  5. Use students’ username and password (credentials) to sign in to Open eBooks

Getting Started with First Book

Not sure if you should use First Book? Your first point of contact should be school administration, but if you need help you can contact us or contact First Book.

If you are a First Book participating school or group, you can gain access by following the steps below. In depth instructions by First Book can be found here.

  1. Register with First Book
  2. Place an order for one or more of the collections
    • Teachers should request one code and PIN (credentials) per student
  3. Receive codes and PINs by email
  4. Download Open eBooks on a mobile device (Android or iOS)
  5. Distribute codes to students
  6. Use codes to sign in to Open eBooks
